Event Description

Reconciliation through Education and Understanding

The KAIROS Blanket Exercise™ program is a unique, participatory history lesson – developed in collaboration with Indigenous Elders, knowledge keepers and educators – that fosters truth, understanding, respect and reconciliation among Indigenous and non-indigenous peoples.

This event will be lead by Alberta's own Tye Rhyno.

If you want a better understanding of European contact from an indigenous perspective, you're sure to find this event worthwhile.

The blanket exercise should last a couple of hours. We’ll then break for lunch, followed by the Annual General Meeting and a meeting of the Alberta Leader Body. We encourage you to stay and participate in everything.
